L. Evard frames are made by TWE (Trans-World Eyewear).
Today, their catalogue is either coveted or regarded a good find because the 40-year loot (old dead stock & thus new/unworn) has since been scattered around the world into the hands of vintage traders and collectors. Some models are considered ‘rare’ where the particular frame is uniquely shaped and very few.
This TWILIGHT SHELL frame
is in two-tone Tortoise. The model reflects the more eccentric, creative styling of the “Mod” look then.
Its octagonal frame is a more subtle wardrobe statement compared to the diamond frame.
The shell frame in octagon is not a common find.
Great condition. Little to no scratches in the plastic’s surface.
New Old Stock; never worn.
