L. Evard frames are made by TWE (Trans-World Eyewear).
Today, their catalogue is either coveted or regarded a good find because the 40-year loot (old dead stock & thus new/unworn) has since been scattered around the world into the hands of vintage traders and collectors. Some models are considered ‘rare’ where the particular frame is uniquely shaped and very few.
This FOREST ANIMAL frame
is in striped Olive. The sunglass model reflects the Wayfarer style and today’s demand for ‘mysterious’ femme fatale frames.
The black, irregular markings give the frame its ‘animal’ flavor and clearly in a vintage way. A good collectible.
The other femme fatale frame is Playboy.
Good condition. Little to no scratches in the plastic’s surface.
