Circa 60s-70s. Zyl Acetate. Hand-made in France.
L. Evard frames are made by TWE (Trans-World Eyewear).
Today, their catalogue is either coveted or regarded a good find because the 40-year loot (old dead stock & thus new/unworn) has since been scattered around the world into the hands of vintage traders and collectors. Some models are considered ‘rare’ where the particular frame is uniquely shaped and very few.
This Venus Decor frame
is in dark Chocolate. The model is dead-on retro, and possibly a dress’ best friend.
Bedazzle ‘jewels’ are set against periwinkle carvings, on its upper body and on both arms.
A lighter tone and slightly smaller version is the Venus Decor Lite.
Great condition. Little to no scratches in the plastic’s surface.
New Old Stock; never worn.
Lenses are not included.
